So heymrdj isn't coming home tonight

I fly lots of times to see my girlfriend. Never had a problem of the total of 17 flights I've flown.

Bro decides he wants to fly now to get the experience. Now he's stuck in Atlanta because his flight from Detroit was over an hour delayed and his flight and the only other flight leaving Atlanta to Tallahassee was overbooked. So he's stuck there for the night and raving pissed. I suppose he is because he's always driven everywhere.

He partially is mad that he listened to me and the parents because we told him to fly since it was safer. He wanted to drive the 800 miles.

I suppose his only option is to find a chair and huddle up there for the night. I feel bad for him since its never happened to me but the one time he flies hes screwed.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't have to pay for another flight correct? Just has to sleep out the night and get the first one going the next morning?

I tend to have similar luck with recommending things to relatives. I have no problems, but things occasionally go awry for them.
 
Yeah, he got to go out yesterday at 4:30PM. Finally got back home around 8:00 PM. But he had to pick me up in Albany at 9:30. And its a 3 hour drive there. Turns out his ex is now attending our college and she picked me up. Ironically good luck.

They still didn't get his luggage though. Said it was stuck in Atlanta and to wait for it to show up in 2 days. Here's hoping.
 
Why didn't he demand a hotel room? Whenever I'm stuck I get a hotel on their dime and meals. Also he'll get his luggage.

I flew on Sunday, it was a mess (some kind of fog at a major hub). Even connected through ATL around 21:30 and my origin flight was delayed an hour. Barely made it. Luggage did not however but got it the next day.

Sorry forgot to mention he did.

Got a free hotel room, shuttle service to and from the airport and a free breakfast.
