So help me find a tv! :)

Update: budget is more negotiable, and it doesn't have to be from Target. I'm considering this one. 27" HDTV. Any other suggestions for ~27" TV?

My brothers are going to split a new tv for my wedding present (apparently my 19" doesn't cut it). Less than $250, under 27", flat screen (not bubble), component inputs are what I'm looking for. We're registered at Target, so I have to be able to get it there too. Suggestions?

I got my panasonic tau 20" for 250 shipped!

Yeh, and a 20" TV is dinky ass compared to a 27".

Go with the 27" Samsung for $10 more.

For $260? About the best you can possibly get for the $$.

sounds great. I'll probably have it for a couple years and then save up to get a monster 50" Samsung DLP tv 😀

24" flatscreens are perfect for smallish living rooms. I'd advise a larger budget and get a widescreen 'cause damn near every broadcaster broadcasts their new material in this format. I can only take so much of those stupid black lines.

I'm not much of a TV-watcher. Mostly just DVDs once or twice a week. I probably won't even get basic cable TV in my new apartment, just do Blockbuster Online or something. So, whatever TV would be the best for DVDs.

If you're only going to be watching SD and DVDs, why are you getting an HDTV?

What's wrong with just using your X1? 😛
