But all japanese anime? And you use your opinion to justify what hobby your kid gets, with no input from them? And you're excluding pokemon, of all things? If your kid were way into any of the other crazier, more disturbing animes, sure. But pokemon?

So, yes, it's quite different.

A couple kids in his kindergarten class play Pokémon. I was looking for something similar but less anime.

Great, get him some weird card game that he can't play with anyone else.

Or just get Pokemon.

BTW: So do I (so do a lot of people) and still played the card game. You don't have to watch the show to play the game.

if his friends are playing pokemon, then why on earth would you want to get him some other game that he wont be able to play with his friends?? it isn't about if you like the game or not, sheesh.
