Just curious I have been have a problem renewing my membership and have been sending off email to tech support for days and have not got a reply.

When I clikc subscription link I just get a error and cant renew my account.

I did need a little help about a year ago and Anand himself helped me within hours.:D

It sucks bing on the servers with banners.:(

I have posted this URL to bring this to Anand's attention. You should hear from the subscription staff soon.

thought you meant tech support from the members of this forum... er, anyway, in regards to your question:

They are usually pretty responsive, considering this is a free site for the members, I don't expect a lot and they do better than expected. But, if you are a paying member, then I'd expect a bit more... and I can't answer to that.

I am a paying member, and its been 4 days and no reply


BTW anyone esle have the same problem when they try to renew there paying membership and you click on the subscription link and just get an error??

Like in the other thread, did you try clearing out your cache and/our using a different browser? As lame as that sounds that works for a lot of people

I agree, but the browser is still good ;).

edit: and if the for-pay service isn't satisfactory, you can get no banners with a free browser. Of course, you're still stuck on the regular servers...

Want a quick reply? Post this same message with the subject: DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO ANANDTECH'S FORUMS, THEIR TECH SUPPORT SUCKS! and make sure to bump it every now and then until a resolution is made.. Then change then edit the topic, of course..
