Curious how much music they have and if it's really easy with "no strings attached".

If you like independent labels, then it's the place for you. If you prefer music from artists that are popular, you won't find any unless they're mixes.

i use them to find music I've never been exposed to - it's a great place to get techno, blues, comedy albums & indie stuff.

the bad thing about d/ling comedy is that each track is counted against your quota & there can be aLOT of tracks on a comedy album

you can find older stuff you recognize, too - just not much of the 'pop' music (which I can't stand anyway)

Read the 1st paragraph under "The eMusic Story" & the 1st & 2nd under "The eMusic Experience"

This looks like a decent service. I was browsing their selection & it looks pretty goo to me. I came across some stuff that's hard to find on disc.

I've used it a couple times. Its definitely a nice service. The MP3s are all very good quality, and the selection is large if you're looking to explore new bands and whatnot.
