Regardless $1k per plate for the dinner. $10K per picture with the president.

I'm sorry but, love em or hate him to death, who the hell is paying $10K for their picture with ANYONE?

Welcome to Fundraising. It's not so much $10K for a picture as it is $10K for time with the ear of the President. The $10K is a donation to make sure your interests are heard loud and clear. Ditto for the dinner.
 
I got to sing at a Clinton Dem. Fundraiser when I was in High School (Kamehameha Schools, Honolulu HI). Luckily we didn't have to pay for our dinner. It was DANG good... bonus: got to shake hands with the pres...for free, too...
