So glad to be home:D :D :D

~ a month ago, I ran across a guy that was dying from cancer & selling his woodworking tools. The wife had just told me I could buy a cabinet table saw, so I PM'd him, turned out he lived in Alabama. The saw was a good price & a guy in Plano offered to kick in some gas $ if I picked up a Grizzly shaper for him too, I felt sorry for him, so we left on Friday & drove to Alabama to pick it up this weekend.

The A/C in my van died an hour into the trip, but it was cloudy/rainy so we just sweated a little, drove through AR, MS, TN, AL & back since Friday pm, had a blowout today (tread seperation on a Yokahama Geolander 🙁 )on the way back & had to change the tire.

I'm so freaking happy to be sitting still in A/C I may just lose my mind:laugh:

But I have a killer table saw:
Jet

Incra Fence

& a Mobile base

All in new/mint condition for ~50% off😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

Now for the 220 volt mod to the garage & I'm set

Good lord, I am also happy to be back in the AC here at home. We (wife, kids, and I) have been out in the woods camping since Friday evening. It was:

1. hot
2. humid
3. wet
4. itchy
5. all the above

Yes, it was answer #5! It basically sucked, I'm not camping again until fall. 🙁

Last year, the b/f saw a ... hmmm... dont know what the hell it is, but it is kinda like a giant compressor of some sort... on Ebay. He emailed the guy who stopped the auction and we rented a van, then we drove from Northern New Jersey to Corinth Missippi to pick the damn thing up.

🙂
Sorry about the guy with cancer, though.

Wow, must have been really worth it.

Pliable, Good find on the saw and all of the goodies with it. 🙂

Hahaha!! The b/f has a really good friend who own a car rental place. It was 50% off, no milage fees. But I did make him take an extra four days to visit my mom in nashville.

🙂

The 220 will be a must if you plan on cutting lots of 2" or greater material. Do you have a decent dust collectior to connect to it?

Sorry guy, one of those marathon drive things. Now that our household is more settled & the kids are old enough to neglect, I think we'll (wife & I) will be traveling a bit more😀
