I'm glad I grew up when I did. I'm tired of so many people complaining about everything and taking so many things for granted. Hell, just look at fast food. Take Sonic, you can go and get breakfast food, burgers (with jalapenos and bacon), tots, cheese sticks, chili dogs, a huge variety of drinks and desserts at almost any time of the day (I think the one here stays open til 2 or 3). You can drive for thousands of miles, mostly problem free. You can hop on a plane and be almost anywhere else in the world within 24 hours.

Not only that, but some of the stuff just on the horizon is mindblowing. Sure its not flying cars, but carbon nanotubes, graphene, medical nanobots, OLED displays, and so on.

Granted, yes, some things have gone to shit (audio fidelity for instance), but most of that is actually pretty easy to remedy.

Those phones are awesome. I work for the phone company and we have a few ones in the back. They will not throw them out as they are so classic. You can't easily break those things either. Back then the phone company would actually come over and fix your phone! Now you throw it out and buy a new one.
