At my first week of work for the summer, and already bored!!! Was given a projct they thought would take 2 weeks and i finish it in 3 days 😛 Now im stuck here with nothing to do until my laptop gets in from CDW so i can start my "super secret project"...but that most likely wont be till Monday....guess its neffing till then...but id rather be at home doing it 😉

I'm in the same situation ... waiting for work. I've currently got the US Open Golf webcast running to entertain me.

Damn, I need to change jobs to get more work/stimulation. 🙁

well its like....i HATE not working....I feel like its a waste of both the company's and my time. They shouldnt have to pay me for doing nothing,.....but I dunno what else to do. I know this isint most ppls work ethics but its just how I was raised. I might start doing random office stuff no one else will do (bring paper to the copy machine etc.)

yeah i hate that. but at the same time if you were busy all the time yo uwould be like "MAN CANT IGET A BREAK!"

honestly I dont think I would. I like being occupied and the time goes MUCH faster when you are actually DOING stuff!

I'm in your shoes. Sitting here waiting for my supervisor to bring the truck in so we can go to the ladfill with our route trash.

I know exactly how you guys feel. I just finished photocopying a bunch of stuff for some shipping invoices. That's all my work for today. So I'm basically done, yet I'm not off until 5. I'll probably be leaving at three, since nobody notices if I'm gone or not.

Oh well, means more time for BF2!
 
meh I dont know...maybe its cause im so young and making an obscene amount of $$ for doing basically nothing...when I was always taught to earn your money

It's an ebb and flow environment here. Right now it's really busy but in a few weeks I won't have jack to do for a week or so. And I am going to enjoy that quite time.

I suppose.....I also do part time work in a small shop and its off and on in terms of business...but I still feel bad when theres nothing to do and usually end up just cleaning some random stuff that doesnt need to be cleaned

I posted it before...it was your basic Data Entry job...and I think they mightve thought it was a lot bigger than it actually was (that or im just super fast)
