What does 900GHz and 2.4GHz really mean? Do you know or do you just go along with it ?

I believe it would actually be the frequency at which the base and handset communicate. As they are both in the UHF range, relatively low power can be used to communicate over a pretty good distance.

So I know 2.4GHz is "better"... but does that mean cheaper / better with a stronger signal / lower power ?

Does GHz also explain range or is it dependent upon phone/manufacturer ?
