Well they say that you have to eat breakfast and it's important etc. A lady on the phone this morning says she read that it was better to eat a donut than to eat nothing at all.

So I assume your body just needs some calories, right? So would you think that picking up an apple juice in the morning or something along those lines fill the need?

Any health experts out there?

i would think baked goods like a donut, pie or cake, wouldnt be very good, too much sugar. you probably would be better off with the juice

Don't most juices today contain almost the same amount of sugar as a can of coke?

Uhm Donuts are terrible for you no matter how you look at it. If all you ate was a donut then all that sugar would wind you up and you'd prolly crash. What a terrible idea.

Eat a peice of fruit, some yogurt, even some oatmeal. Just don't think something sugar filled like a juice drink or donut is good for you cause some lady on the phone says so.

Yeah I don't think donuts or pie or things like that would be good for breakfast.

Eat some cereal with good fiber content, oatmeal, etc. Glass of grape juice or something like V8 splash.

But the point of my question is that your body needs calories, whether they are solid such as a muffin, or liquid, such as apple juice should not matter, as long as your body is receiving calories, right?

Sugar in fruit juice is natural fructose, which is better for you than sucrose. So you can't say juice is bad because it has as much sugar as Coke. That's like saying fruits are unhealthy because they have too much sugar.
