I like watching the road rage / angry people youtube videos to pass the time when I'm at work. A couple of times I've even noticed Michigan license plates, etc, and once saw a high speed police chase video that went by where I used to live. Pretty wild.
Today thought I saw a Michigan plate and said 'cool' and rewatched the video. Then I noticed a watermark from the video originator (I was watching one of the thousands of compilations). I went to his channel - and actually recognized some of the roads he was riding. He was lane splitting at high speed, blowing red lights, causing general mayhem, and even gets into a police chase in one of the many videos.
With a little detective work (left turn, right turn.... freeway entrance) and the help of google street view I was actually able to locate the home he lives in and get his address. This guy is a menace - and one of his videos already has a crash he caused. He was also stupid enough to accidentally get his bike's license plate in the camera view, so I have that too now.
I'm strongly considering notifying the local police about who he is, and letting them know he has a youtube channel. The idiot is putting lives at risk after all.....I think I'll report it tomorrow morning.
TDLR: Saw crimes on youtube, figured out who was comitting them. Do I report the info to the police?
