After that recall I've been hesitant to buy it again, even though it is my favorite kind.

It's been about 3 months and I've heard nothing (plus they probably are the safest to buy from since they know if it happens again they are f#%ed).

Just wondering if any of you buy it anymore?

Bought two jars for 99 cents each the other day. I opened the jar and it smelled fresher than any other brand I've eaten lately. If they want to regain their customers, they just gotta sell it cheaper.

It's Jif for me, but I remember the commercial jingle for Peter Pan.....

Eat your peanut butter anytime you can, but only if it's peter pan!

Luckily for all of us evolution is BS because we would have life jumping out at us every time we opened a jar.

To tell you the truth I haven't seen Peter Pan peanut butter on the shelves anywhere since the Salmonella scare.

Its the same peanut butter walmart sells.
Learned that from the recall.
Both peter pan and walmart brand had the same lot numbers.

oops, someone let that slip out :)

I do not do the shopping, so I have no idea if our household purchasing decision has been influenced by the issues with PPPB. However, I do take Tylenol. ;)

Normally I prefer Jif, but I bought some the other day because it was on sale and we haven't died yet. I'll update you if I do though

I stick with some "Teddy" stuff. Its the old fashioned kind where you have to stir it so the oil doesn't separate.

Good shit.

I didn't eat peter pan before the recall and I still don't.

when I've got a choice, I go with Skippy creamy.

I always get whatever brand of no salt & natural the store has. I don't think PP sells a type with even one of those features, let alone both.

I used to favor Peter Pan pre-recall. I bought some recently after seeing it back on the shelves for the first time, and honestly thought it tasted not-great. Apparently I've gotten used to Jif.
