So do all musicians get the women and attention?

I am sure Metallica and John Meyer get hordes of women all the time. All they have to do is show up somewhere, and they get all the women and the attention they crave. But these are main stream artists, what about non main stream artists, who are big in their genre? Do you think Jean Jarre got all the women back when he was famous? Do you think those two guys from Deep Forest are scoring all the time? What about the guy from Enigma, Micheal Kretu, does he get so much attention too?

Just wondering, that is all.
 
If there are enough fans for there to be groupies, yes. Even local bands are successful in that respect.

And not ALL musicians get women and attention - classical musicians.

Well I am not too sure of that. My old roommate used to like Nina Simone. But I am sure he never had fantasies of being with her. You just don't think about some musicians in that way, a lot of it has to do with the kind of music they make.

Well I am not too sure of that. My old roommate used to like Nina Simone. But I am sure he never had fantasies of being with her. You just don't think about some musicians in that way, a lot of it has to do with the kind of music they make.

when I was in high school I knew a girl yes, an attractive one) that SWORE the only man she would EVER sleep with was MJ. Hopefully, she has changed hr mind....

Better rephrase that question. should be "Do all of the singers/rock stars get the women and attention?". If all musicians did, then myself would even get girls. I play the trombone/baritone.
 
Excessive female attention is an occupational hazard for most musicians, from beer bars on up. It's been that way forever, or longer, whichever comes first. 😎

It was more fun when I was playing professionaly in the 60's and 70's when one bad choice didn't used to be able to kill you, unless she happened to have a 300 lb mean biker boyfriend. :Q
