I have the SE version sitting in my car. I picked it up for $25 at Best Buy this morning.

I had originally preordered the SE version @ EB games and will need to cancel. Does anyone in the Springfield/Alexandria, VA area want it? Just PM me before 8pm.

It may be your 9800P. 2k4 supposedly runs better on a newer GPU. :brokenheart: It looks like I can do a K8V, 64 3200 and a 9800P for $658 and Newegg. hmmmm...

The headset seems nice from what I gather. I believe it's the Internet Chat Headset (in blue, not red) seen on their site. Seems to be well made, but I only put it on for a minute or so.

I picked it up today in regular CD-ROM format. Man, I see why they made a DVD format. Damn game takes up 5.5 Gigs with 5 install CDs and 1 seperate play CD!

That's the one. It's pretty comfy, though I haven't used it yet. I prefer using key binds.

Picked up my pre-ordered from Game Stop B&M SE tonight. When they called me today at work, I called the local BB and they didn't have it yet.

Headset is OK, but it sucks to listen on headphones when I've got 5.1 Logitech Z-680s. That said, being able to give voice orders ROCKS!!! I was driving the truck and ordering people in and out to hit nodes, etc. People need to get talking!

In SP, you can boss your bots around and believe me, it's better to be able to press the mike key and say, "Charlie, Defend Base" than try and find the key sequence necessary.

I love this game,much better than UT2003 I think. I played it for hours last night and I was only able to play a few death matches. The value of this game is great, so many levels.

And you're right about the performance, it's amazing. Hardly go below 80 FPS even in the heat of bot matches. Thats with high settings with 4x/4x @ hi res.

Just need to figure out how to benchmark it now. I guess I can use fraps, isn't there a built in benchmark with this thing?

This game is a dasm riot! I played onslaught for several hours last night. That leviathan is insane!

I like how they redid the point system. The person who activated the node doesn't get all 5 points, and you get points for healing your node. This keeps selfish people from activating a node and taking off to the next one just to get the 5 points. There's more of an incentive to play as a team and build nodes to take the core out than just running around attacking. Great fun!

Oh yeah bitches, I just picked up my copy! Fry's just got it in and I had this retard infront of me just looking at the shelf! I'm like, WTF, what is so hard about picking the game up and taking it to the checkout counter?! So, I just reached infront of him and picked up my SE copy. Anyway, I can't wait to get home and play it!

I hope so, since I'll be getting it. I would like it if they were equivalent to my cheap Sennheiser 433HD headphones, but even though the 433s are pretty crappy they are still better than most headphones in their price range.

I shouldn't have pre-ordered from GoGamer, they accepted more orders than they had copies allocated for the SE, so they tell me "hopefully we will have some more within few days" :| :| :|
