So...did the new message interface idea get bagged totally?

I only heard about the 10 minute period it was used today and that it "sucked", and then the thread gets deleted. What was wrong with it?

Maybe if they don't like it, they should post here and contribute to the "opinions" thread (which of course is now gone) so that Zuni knows what they think, rather than complaining to each other in OT when something suddenly changes and they didn't know about it.

I agree with you there but the new layout had a few problems. They probably could have been fixed but the version we saw was not useable in my opinion.

It made finding each poster's username a pain in the ass to see. It made the thread look cluttered. It looks like an awesome layout until you try to use it.

I do hope that Zuni makes some changes and tries it again.

Hmm, that new interface looked interesting, from the screenshot anyway. I wish it were an option, as I would definitely choose to use it. It would make lots of sense on small screens, as you're not wasting 70 or more horizontal pixels on the user info.

I agree with you though. Nevermind that the new layout was more space efficient and cleaner. It's a change and cave dwellers don't deal well with it.
