Absolutely
She couldn't get in the news everyday and set up for President if she was bogged down running the state.
Cheers President Palin

The Dems are absolutely terrified of Palin's continuing to energize the Republican base and now the critically important Independent base. They know she can redeem her shortcomings and that her strengths are much greater than her weaknesses. I expect they see her as the Energizer Bunny of politics today, she keeps going and going and going.
Same for the Republicans, who seem to not have a ready contender in waiting and will be tested with the issues of the next two years.
I don't know that Palin will run, but what has gone before will not count for squat except in the minds of those who have already committed to her defeat at all costs.
Whether Palin chooses to run again or not, she is one of a very few people that will act as a kingmaker next year.
Sitting here this evening, on the cusp of a massive surge by the Republicans which is due very much to Palin and the Tea Party, I can see her winning both the Republican nomination and the general election should she choose to run again.

Before the MSM began attacking her at every turn, she did have an 80% approval rate in AK. Had she not entered the election race with McCain, she'd likely have been easily re-elected for a second term if she sought one.
When she first resigned, it seemed like she was quitting and giving up. Put yourself in her shoes. You're an elected official, and you're getting attacked politically, personally from the media for every little thing. If you don't tie your shoe, the media jumps all over you. Several high profile ethnics lawsuits, none of which really had any substance, were filed against you, forcing you to devote your time to defending yourself rather than doing your job as governor. Most people would just say 'Screw this, I don't think this crap,' and move on.
