So today I started selling these XBL cards on ebay that retail for $50 and I can get them for $35 so I was selling them on ebay for $40. It is the first item I have ever sold on ebay.

Well someone emailed me asking if I had any deals I told them if they bought 3 cards I would throw a cheaper card in for free. So he proceeds to buy 3 and I get the email saying he purchased them. So I go ahead and send him the codes. Then about 30 minutes later I go to buy a new LCD and check my paypal to make sure I have enough first and realize I am $120 short. So I check my email and sure enough never got a paypal email from the guy. So I check the guys feedback. He has 15 positive feedbacks saying instant payment and what not. I thought on digital items you had to pay instantly. But guess i was wrong. So I have sent the guy 3 emails and have had no response yet.

If he never pays for it what can I do? Is there any way to get my money?

You are screwed. Your only recourse would be ebay or maybe paypal support, but I doubt they will do much if you sent the item before you received payment.

What was the email you got that said he purchased them? I'm guessing you got the ebay default "XXXXXXX has won your auction" email and you thought that was a payment email.

Question: Are dealers allowed to sell on ATOT? This just peaks my curiosity because you've been selling a bunch of cards (Live and Points) on AT and you keep getting them. I thought AT frowned upon dealers who just keep selling the same product.

I don't. the guy is a idiot.

5 minutes of reading the e-mail would have saved him the money. hell common sense would have saved him the money.

expensive lesson. but hopefully one well learned.

Jesus Christ. He is just trying to make himself some extra cash.

Why not just send him a PM? Why do you have to post in this thread and start issues between him and the mods?

He's not a dealer. He's a guy trying to earn a few extra bucks, he sells a valued commodity at a lower price. Get a life people, and let the guy be.

OP: These guys act like they have never made a mistake in their life. We've all screwed up; none of us are perfect. This is a life lesson, you learn from it and move on.

Who are you exactly? We'll let the mods decide if he's allowed to continue selling cards over and over again. Most of the times in the past it's been against the rules. Rules are in place for a reason.

Sorry if you don't like it.
