So Broncos fans, still think Jake the Fake is your savior?

XMan

Lifer
Let's see . . . he fumbles the first snap from center . . . throws a near interception on a routine screen pass . . . overthrows a wide open receiver in the end zone . . .

Welcome to the roller coaster ride that is Jake Plummer. 😀

Word.

Jake is going to do well with a real team to back him up. He was a one man show in Arizona.

Yes, but did you see the TD pass? It was only a TD because Lelie had to make an amazingly acrobatic play.

Where are the cardinals going? Oh yeah, another rebuilding year.

Oh and Plummers rating at the half was around 110. Not too bad.

But I thought they were done rebuilding when they changed the name of the team?

I guess not. 😉

Denver quarterback Jake Plummer didn't get off to quite the start he was hoping for in his first home game with the Broncos. He even got booed.

Plummer fumbled his first snap, threw a pass that Colts linebacker Gary Brackett should have intercepted, and missed a wide-open Ed McCaffrey on what would have been an 18-yard touchdown. And that was just on the first drive.

He was much better on Denver's second drive, thanks to Ashley Lelie.

Plummer rolled out on the first play of the series, thought about running, then pulled up for a pass at the last second. Lelie adjusted to the slightly underthrown ball and made a leaping grab over Mike Doss for a 55-yard touchdown.

But that was about it for Plummer.

He dropped another snap in the second quarter, then was booed after Anthony Floyd intercepted his overthrown pass on Denver's first drive of the third period.

Plummer was 15-for-22 for 205 yards before being replaced by Steve Beuerlein midway through the third quarter.

Anybody wanna lay any money down? I say Plummer's QB rating for the year is under 80.

Man, Griese was such a downer, even his teamates couldn't light a fire under him. They've embraced Plummer tho. And Denver has a mobile QB. Remember the last mobile QB in denver? John Elway.

Lelie and Portis will have big years.

Yeah he really put it to the Texans alright

.......

He's sh*t. If you watched the game tonight, ALL of his passes were not where they should have been. His recievers had to make dangerous adjustments or leaps to come up with the ball. The only reason I think he's on that team right now is because he runs around, obliviously of course. I'll stick to my guns and say he phucks this one up, but you never know, maybe he'll calm down and start thinking about the safty of his recievers.

He's the second all time interception leader in the NFL, and he's only been playing for 7 years. Rich Gannon has been playing twice that long and has not even hit 100.
