Well, I have received all the pieces for my new system and the construction phase begins! All necessary provisions are in place (burritos, nachos, beer....) Anyone have any last minute sugguestions before I put my hard hat on and get to work? Here's what I have:

Lian-Li PC-60 case
ASUS A8N SLI deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Thermaltake Venus 12 CPU fan
Crucial PC-3200 DDR 512MB x2 (1GB total)
Segate 7200.8T 250MB SATA HD
EVGA 6800GT 265MB
NEC DVD+/-RW 16x
3.5" Sony Floppy drive
CoolMax 400W Silent Switching Pwr Supply
And last but not least.... my cool New Egg sticker!!!!

I suggest testing the motherboard/CPU/HS+F/powersupply/ram/videocard together outside the case before you install everything.

(If you weren't planning on doing that already)
 
I was gonna say first only install what you need then progressively add the peripherals....but looks like everything you listed there IS needed on first boot up 😉
