How much boost is the car making?
Anything above 16-17psi and it's just hot air in the upper rpm ranges. Compressor is too small and inefficient...
I'm running a FWD:
1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T
Power & drivetrain:
K&N cone filter + cut dump BOV return tube
Aluminum mandrel Lower IC pipe & Upper IC pipe
Crushed 1G BOV
3" custom SS mandrel catback w/ Flowmaster 2.5" dual tip (for stock-appearing rear end)
ACT 2600 w/ Street disc
Braking & Handling:
Dual Piston factory calipers from the AWD
Slotted Brembos & SS brake lines on all corners
Rotex Gold carbon/kevlar composite pads
KYB GR-2 OE replacements on squishy stock springs
RRE strut front (upper & lower) and rear (upper only) full tubular steel strut tower bracing
RMDSM swaybars front & rear
17x7.5 Rota Battles w/ Krappo Ecsta 712s 235/45-17
I'm running the stock Boost Control Solenoid... creeps to 17-18psi in 3rd gear on the factory way-too-small T25.
I have a battery box that I need to get installed and relocate the battery to the trunk to help with car balance.
Man, those tires are great for rain and the street but I get my @$$ handed to me by people on Azenis all the time. Prolly putting in a MkIV Supra sidemount and finishing off a full turboback with O2 eliminator in the near future. Wondering how much longer my turbo will last... then time for a swap to a AGPTurbo T28. In desperate need of a Quaife LSD to go on there... open diff SUCKS.
EDIT: btw, my car supposedly weighs a little under 3000, I'm prolly making around ~230hp... no friggin way I'm going to be running 12s let alone 13s... even with friggin slicks. Mid to low 14s at best at around 100mph... wheel hop sucks.
