Christmas eve. First we have a dinner of hors d'oeuvres, shrimps, cheese and crackers, etc, with some nice wine and then we go open the gifts.

Christmas day we all sleep in. 🙂

Same. We do dinner and then open all our presents. Then when the kids wake up...they do the santa bit. It makes christmas last two days!! This is just how we've always done that since I was a child. The whole family got together on eve and did our thing. It's nice that way.

We open one on christmas eve, which is normally some new pajama pants or slippers, so we can wear them the next morning when we are opening the rest.

we open ours on christmas eve, because my family gets together at 9am on christmas morning and I dont want to get up at 5 (which i do daily) to open things and not feel rushed, and i dont want to wait til 12 or 1 when i get home to do it.
