Hell, I would have been happy with a finished and complete KOTOR2.

Yes. Both Revan and the exile's ghost are in TOR. You actually see Revan's face. Tiny bit of Bastilla too, in a different quest.

How much of the information on the exile comes from SW TOR? if any? I never got to finish KOTOR 2 and lost the discs. sucks.

A lot of it is straight out of KOTOR 2. Much of the material isnt even seen, but referenced throughout the game.
By the time it starts you've already destroyed Malachor V and won the Mandalorian war. They scatter throughout the galaxy. You go into hiding.

I highly recommend you dig up the game any way you can, its a good experience.
