Too bad the Bible wasn't originally written in just one langauge, then at least there could be a claim that it can only be considered proper if in that language. Like how Muslims say the Quran is only correct if read in Arabic. At the very least then translation issues wouldn't come into play. I think it's probably too much to ask people to learn Ancient Greek, Aramaic, and Hebrew.
By "the Bible" do you refer to the 66 books? Or more? Or less? Do you know there is a theory that the greek portions are actually translations and that originally they were in hebrew?
