WOW! They were able to write it on a roadmap! I'm impressed! I guess that means that they'll be able to do it on time and not 13 months late because, you know, they said so....

I'm pretty sure that 0.09 micron has been there on the road map for several months (3-4 or so). I felt then, and still feel now, that with all the troubles companies are having with the transition to 0.13 micron (think of all the product delays in the last year), that 0.09 micron won't be smooth sailing as well. Thus I take AMD's prediction with a grain of salt.

I remember at the AMD Xtreme Performance shows, one of the trivia (for a free XP 2400+) was something like "Whats the code name for the CPU slated for release in 2004, and whats the process size?"

10 idiots ran up and said something to a variant of ClawHammer, 64bit.

I think a lot of people will.

I mean, how long is Hammer delayed by now......1? Nope, 2? Nope, 3? Nope, 4? Nope.....etc etc
