you guys know what im talking about? those 1/24th scale plastic car models. those are really cool and not too expensive either. if there are any hobby enthusiasts here, i have a few questions:

what kind of paint is best for dealing with these things? i remember i used to make them, and i use this paintbrush to paint them, and i really sucked. it was messy too. is airbrush good? acrylic? i dont know.

what kind of glue is good for this? i remember using a glue gun and that was really pathetic. then i used elmers glue, and that was horrible.

have you guys seen that ferrari enzo model? that one looks so sweet. im guessing its probably hard to build though, the level is 2 of 3. and some of the wooden boat models are soooo awesome. they are all like $100+ though. 🙁.

I used to build a couple. I was more into planes though. I used plastic cement and liquid cement, depending on what needed to be done. I used an airbrush also for painting. Level 2 and 3 isn't that hard, or at least if you have some experience, it'll just take some time.

Check out a local hobby store and they'll give you better advise face-to-face.

Well it depends. You usually want your car to look glossy so pick the acrylic paints. The other paints available are the enamels, but they are "flat" colors.

Yes you will need to airbrush the car. Its just easier that way. Paintbrush is for those detailed jobs that require different colors next to each other, such as army camo.

For glues, any cement glue with a tiny tip will do.
