Woodworm, A worm that eats wood (the most feared thing on a wooden boat).

Siren, A woman of the sea who lures men to their doom with her sweet song.

Davey Jones' Locker, The bottom of the sea (where you are dead).

Bung, The stopper cork in a wine cask.

Gaff, A hook with a handle used to haul fish out of the sea.

Fathom, Six feet of ocean.
