Fry's just picked up the CNPS10x Quiet and Flex models to compliment our lineup (we already had the extreme and it has been selling well), my question is if any ATers have either one and any comments on how they have personally seen them to perform. i have been browsing around for reviews and it seems that a couple sites show the Quiet performing better than a TRUE at ultra low fan RPM (~800) by over a degree in some cases, under a linpack load. i havent really been able to find much of any reviews on the Flex model, but seeing as to how it performs worse AND it requires you to buy a fan separately i doubt it will sell as well in situations where one could fit the quiet or extreme inside the case they have picked. with the fan lineup for a proper fan to go with the flex starting at $15 for a DBB Tricool or $17 for one of those HDB TT fans with the flower pedal blades, it puts it in throwing distance of the extreme in price, at least at frys. the added bonus is you can use push pull fans with it, and yate loons are a dime a dozen if you buy it online. any input would be useful, considering our lineup at frys sucks right now and these coolers make a good addition if their performance matches their pricetag. for the record they're priced at $59.99 for the quiet and $49.99 for the flex. the extreme is $69.99, with the Corsair H50 being $79.99 as the next step up in our stock.
