So I get home, and we're just about to sit down and eat dinner, when two of the neighborhood kids knock on our door. They tells me that some kid just broke our back windshield with a rock.
I'm puzzled, and I go look.
Sure enough.
Our 2004 Chrylser Sebring that we've not had even a full month yet has a SHATTERED WINDSHIELD!!!
%&$#ing kids! So we call the police, and get transferred to an automated system that tells us we'll be contacted within 36 hours.

I think the responsible party might be one of the neighborhood bullies, so we should be able to find out who they are. I look forward to speaking with the little %&*#ing sh!t's parents... I would very much love to wring this hellchild's neck at the moment.

I talked to them, and they'll be calling me back tomorrow. But that does little to derail my great vengeance and furious anger which I would like to strike down with.

I know exactly how you feel.

Slightly difference situation though. I come out in the morning, side rear mirrow is completely shattered, but still on the car. Its like in the movies where there are cracks everywhere and the good guys are like, oh crap, we're gonna die, but it hasn't broken yet.

When I get it replaced, the guy told me in his expereience, someone shot by window with a bb/airsoft gun.

That's what I'm trying to figure it out. I figure once I talk to a few kid's parents and mention that the cops will be involved, they'll get some incentive to tell the truth.

my buddy had some asshole throw a flowerpot at his car, glass is easier to get replaced tho, plus a lotta the shops in my area waive the deductible by billing the insurance more, ask about this...

most insurances have $0 deducs for glass, at least on all th ecomprehensive insurance plans that I hvae been on (State farm, Allstate, and now Progressive)
