It certainly makes me proud to see the Confederate flag flying over southern state capitols. It just shows how much we have really changed.

Yes, here in the south, we are all running around and hanging blacks, going to segregated schools, and not letting them into white restaurants.

You bastards!! ;) Although to be fair, you can't just whitewash over the South's sordid past quite so easily. I know you'd like to ... always standing up to defend the south as you do.

After reading the way Dahmer died (burned to death while holding a shotgun on the klan so his family could escape) and his perceived "crime" (he collected poll tax at his store so that blacks could vote) he sounds like a true American hero of whom we can all be proud-whether you are from the North or South, black or white.

As for Bowers, good riddance and I glad he finally rotted away in jail. I hope it's mighty warm where he is now.

Don?t tell me you think Lincoln fought to free the slaves, and that was the purpose of the war? It was to oppress state?s rights of liberty, as one of the final checks and balances against a central government that one does not agree with. That check and balance was destroyed during those years.

Whats the point of a central government if the state can ignore any law it doesn't like? Thats exactly what nullification lets them do.
