So, after paying all my bills I'm left with roughly $80.00 to last me two weeks

How the hell do I make it last and at least put away a part of the 80.00?

Bills I paid for:

Gas card: $100.00
24 Hour Fitness membership: $210.00
MMA membership: $40.00
School: $187.00

Total: $530+

Man oh man I am broke as a joke.

What the hell would YOU put the $80.00 into? Shall I put it into my savings and just sit on it? What would I eat???

You pay $210/mo for 24 hour gym access?

Holy crap. The gym I was a member at was $250/yr for 24 hour access.

Cup of noodles man. Or Top Ramen. Its usually around 10 for $1.00. That should buy you around 800 Top Ramens for 2 weeks.

They have a FREE gym ya know....Look on your bill for somthing like "stdent services fee"/ thats so you can workout, swim, and go to the heath center.

You could cut two expenses by biking or other modes of human powered travel. Use a crappy bike to discourage theft and expend more energy. $80 would buy a pretty crappy bike, but someone would probably still steal it, so, I'd say find an even crappier bike and spend the rest on a locking mechanism. :D

A will work for food sign is relatively cheap to produce and often results in positive cash flow. Not sure if the opportunity cost factor is a problem for ya.

Seriously, $80 to last two weeks, for me = going into debt.

I would drop the Fitness membership. You could really use that $210 a month for food or an emergency.

The ironic part is that the health membership costs will have destroyed much of the nutritional value in the foods you'll be eating for the next 2 weeks.

You seriously need to evaluate your spending priorities if 34% of your disposable income is a gym membership, initiation fee or otherwise.

Get used to eating fruit for breakfast and salad. A head of lettuce can probably make three meals. Add bag of carrots, some sliced hothouse tomatoes, cucumber, and grated cheese, and you can probably eat for a week under $40.

at least you have a job, nothing better than knowing that two weeks away there'll be another pay check. I believe, if could have tweaked the way/time you pay your bills so that you have more than 80.00. Anyway, start making more friends perhaps they could buy you meals or at least, get free drink.

Do what I did many years ago; get a second job. Part-time, 20-30 hours a week. Sure, it sucks not having a life, but I always have food. And not Ramen noodles either. :)

If you can't live on $80/2 weeks after bills, you need help. I would imagine it would cost about $30 for food for one person per week assuming that person ate well (no resturants). What else do you need to spend money on?

BTW: If you smoke, or drink, then screw you. It ticks me off when people who drink/smoke complain about money.

dont you just love being broke like that :)

I paid all mine more than usual this month and left myself with not very much. I have a couple hundred bucks for 2 weeks, but I am sure that could change, I am sure something will come up that requires money... (bill)

pasta
rice
ground beef
spaghetti sauce
eggs
cold cuts
bread
a little bit of vegetables
oatmeal

you will have to cook your own meals.

If you eat out you can order off the dollar menu no more then 5 items per day.
