I was helping prepare one of our kids programs for a clinton visit in the 90's and we had advance party SS on site. I walked into the building not knowing they were there and quipped "I hear the president's coming and she's bringing her husband." 7 suited guys not trying to conceal a host of weapons walked out of offices at me, kinda slowly and proceeded to walk around me.....it was very intense.

They indicated that it was innappropriate and that they were concerned that I might be a threat. No one laughed or smiled the whole time. I didn't get into trouble but they took me off the access list! I still got to shake Bill's hand, which was smallish, soft and slightly fat.

Those guys are daur and intense. I wouldn't want that job!

Whatever happened to them going in a couple of days in advance and scouting the area? They never used to just show on short notice like that.

OMG... a photo of this with "Camp3r F@g!" posted on it would be hilarious..

If by chance he does shoot someone in the head, you gotta shout "HEADSHOT!" as loud as you can.

Based on the context of what you said I think their reaction was absurd. You said nothing that could even be construed as a threat by any reasonable person. Professionalism is one thing but they sound like they can crack a walnut with their ass.

it cant hurt to ask can it?

LoL, actually yes it can. He'd probably be locked up. You can't threaten the President or Vice President, and they'd probably assume that as a threat.

you can however, say that you "feel they should be shot"

we have free speach, you just have to know how to word it :)

Even then I'd be carefull. But yes, we still do have free speech. Just make SURE they know its just speach, not action :p

I'm not sure about you, but I would NOT want to test that theory in that situation.
