Seriously, these people are horrible.
I got 250 responses in a week and a half.
Some notables:
One person applied with the objective of "To be an arborist" while another said "Sous Chef"
I got a resume from someone who had attached it as a .bmp, they took a printed resume that was folded and wrinkled, SCANNED IT and emailed it to me. The resume was for any job in a restaurant. Last employment was at Chilis. They spelled it wrong - written as CHILL with the letters IS added to the end of it. (No wonder they havent had a job since 07)
One person wrote under awards and Accomplishments: Most improved freshman band member.
8 people didnt know the difference between "AD" and "ADD"
3 truck drivers applied, cutting and pasting their application from other applications from trucking jobs.
About two dozen high school class of 2009 gradutates - none of which know the difference between your and you're and did not attach a resume as I asked.
Half a dozen resumes in .wps format, which is unsupported by my version of word.
