Say you wake up at 7:00AM everyday.

It's 5AM. Do you:

A. Get 2 hours of sleep then go to work
---Thus feeling very tired when you wake up, and the urge to "not" wake up
B. Stay up those 2 hours and go to work
---Thus feeling tired but more aware as you have already been up several hours already.
C. Screw work and sleep all day :)

Anyways, on a more serious note, I'd really like to know which would help one's self get through the day easier. Because I have this feeling, if I go to sleep at 5AM and wake up at 7... I may ether:

A. Not wake up period
B. Not be able to think clear

But if I were to say up, I would still be tired yes, but wouldn't I be more aware? How exactly do you all see this perspective? I know I'm probably WAY off, and those 2 hours could really help. But on the otherhand I could be somewhat right.. had to find out sometime lol. Your thoughts?

defpends on how much caffeine/speed you can get your hands on.

seriously though, going 24 hours without sleep on the rare occasions I do it isnt as bad as I thought. Just try not to drive too much. Also cant you ise a sick day ro something?

Yesterday I was in pretty much the exact same moat, I decided to screw the work (school in this case which is much easier to blow off) and sleep. I woke up at 5:00 PM which is why I am still wide awake now 12 hours later.

1 hour of sleep get me so much worse of than before. Personally I'd need about 3-4 hours to not jsut wake up and be even mroe tired then i was before. Actually what I do if i only have an hour or so is just play some calming music and lie down, but dont go to sleep, that way it sorta mentally gets me ready for the next day without makign mroe tired then before. The trick of coruse is to be able to lie down and NOT fall asleep which is easier said than done.

Truth.

Even two nights without sleep isn't too bad, but that third day get's a little weird. I've never felt the need to push it after that.

I never bother with sleep when it's only 1-2 hours, I won't be able to wake up in time.
Just take some coffee, a nice walk outside and a semi-cold shower.
