okay, i have to commute to work for 1 more week before i get my new apt. Therefore, i am like 1.5hours from work in the mornings, which means i leave around 6:30am. I have a couple options for tomorrow because it is suppose to snow here (indianapolis) all night and tomorrow morning during rush hour. I can either go home and then guess how long it will take me to go around the city with snow, or i could stay at my GF's which is like 30 minutes closer, but on the busiest side of indy. How long do you guys think it would take to drive from the north to the west side of a city (usually takes 30-40 minutes) with it snowing outside? I am trying to get a rough estimate as to what time i would leave my house tomorrow morning if i went home.

also, which would you do? wear the same clothes tomorrow and stay at your GF's parent's house which is closer to work OR commute home and get up early tomorrow morning?

this whole thing is also hoping that there is no accidents

edit: GF will NOT be at her parents house.

What I would do is leave an hour earlier, before the traffic gets heavy. Once rush hour starts, the plows and salt trucks can't do much since the roads are jammed. Get on the road early so you have more time, more room around you in case of slick roads, and a better chance that the trucks have the roads relatively clear.

How about "Don't drive for 1.5h in snowy conditions to go to work"?

Isn't there some clause in your contract that states that?

girlfriend leaves to go back to finish her last couple months of college this afternoon.

and it is suppose to snow anywhere from 4-10 inches according to like 4 different broadcasts. and it could potentially be going during rush hour tomorrow morning.

Stay home, have phone sex with the gf.

editted to say that she wont be there..

Yes, this is why you have PHONE sex with your gf, who is going to be out of town for a few months. Stay home, call her at a time during the day when she is at home, and ask her what she's wearing. This is a far superior plan than driving 3 hours in the freakin' snow, dude.
