Snowshoeing with a dog?

What type of dog? I doubt a poodle will have any fun

Actually, our friends down in Chugiak had an entire dogsled team of poodles. These were not the tiny yappy poodles, though.

I have an Alaskan Malamute, she loves the snow, but again... she's an Alaskan Malamute. She can tread snow like it wasn't even there.

My dog loves it, if the snow isn't too deep... pic

My rotts used to love it also. Mom would cross country ski and after a while they would follow on the old tracks. If it was deep they wouldn't go to far off the tracks. Snowshoeing should be even easier for them.
