My point was, if you're not used to getting as much snow as someone in, say, Denver, 5-6 inches seems like a big deal.

2 inches in Atlanta gets the National Guard called in.

It's all about deviation from the norm.

No, we keep on trudging along, although the schools pretty much all shut down. Once we get to 1ft of snow or more, things do start shutting down. I may work from home tomorrow, as it took me almost 2 hours to get home tonight (normal commute is 30-35min).
