snowboarding tough on lower back?

iamme

Lifer
i've never gone snowboarding before, and i have the chance.

however, my lower back has been pretty bad and i'm worried that i'm going to hurt it more.

is snowboarding going to put lots of stress on my lower back?

Wel, dude, if you never gone snowboarding before, chances are, you will fall quite often and thats not gonna be good for your back or every other part of your body.

hmm....that's what i was thinking 🙁

On your first day, it won't hurt your lower back, but your ass will sure be sore. 🙂

I've been riding for years, I've never had any problems with my lower back, excluding falls that is.

It's easy. Go to Teton Village in Jackson Hole, WY and head up the tram. Sure, it looks tough, buy YOU THE MAN. Go down Rendezvouz bowl and head to Corbett's Couliour (sp) Look over the edge. Sure, it's a 20-30 foot drop, but it's OK. Dive off, and send pics.

Rats, host down

If you have any sensitive areas in your body going snowboarding for the first time is not a good idea
