my tailbone won't be talkin to me for a few days :p my friend said i did good for my first time doing anything like that(snowboarding, skiing, etc.) i did a few end-over-end flips accompanied by pops in my neck and back; sliding foreward on my face for about 5 meters, twisting my ankle while trying to figure out how i'm supposed to move with one foot in the binding and the other pushing... not to mention i have crappy balance :p i think i'll go once more just to make sure i don't like it, then i'll just stick with mountain biking and rock-wall climbing ;)

some people make it look like it's nothing. i saw this guy bombing down a black diamond, did a sharp turn and stopped right in line for the chair lift. i was thinkin to myself "heh, i'd love to be able to do that, but the only way i can get down the black diamond is on my ass "

I went for the first time last year, and although I fell a lot I didn't have any pain after (just bunny hill at the time) and by the end of the day I thought I'd done pretty damn well; I could go down the hill without falling at least :) I used to ski a lot and now I Just find skiing very boring. I have absolutely no interest to get back into sking.

ah well the bunny hills here are a joke, and besides that there are only 3 hills open, all of them started as black diamond, so i learned on that :p that would probably be why i had all the flipping and sliding and such ;)

well i'm going to go and sleep. 5 hours of sleep last night, then form 8-4 snowboarding, i'm wiped
