I went snowboarding for the past 2 days and I gotta say I LOVED IT. I used to just kinda go meh when people went skiing and I would just kinda tag along. I struggled and just tried to survive.
Then I never went back for years until last year. I struggled with boarding as it was my first time, and I think I left with only very little skill gained. I went back again and then I was a lot better, finally being able to steer somewhat and not fall. I went back again this past weekend and wow, it was totally different. I was hitting up the blue trails this time, and while I still do fall here and there, I feel like I'm doing infinitely many times better than before.
Anyways, so I'm thinking I should start buying stuff as I'm almost certain I'll be back on the snow at least once more this season, and definitely MANY MANY times next season.
Buying a board is a huge jump, and I'm sure preferences can change over time with skill. So I'm figuring I should start with boots... any tips? If you got tips for boards, let me know too, since if there's something worth buying out there I might just jump into it.
