Are you going through withdrawl waiting for snow? hehe..

I'm just curious as to who snowboards around here. I've been in love with it for the last 2 years, and I could easiliy say its one of the most exilirating things in the world.

Im not ancy to go right now as I broke my arm in 2, needed plates and stuff.. so I got over the withdrawl when I had to deal with my borked arm everyday :(

Any stories?

Seeya.

On my second year I broke my wrist and pinky, requested they only put a sling on my arm and not a cast and kept snowboarding! :p

First year broke it and had a cast and couldnt go snowboarding for a month!!

I saved up enough money to get a new board this summer, can't decide on the length. I've been riding a 160, but now I've really gotten into tricks and stuff and might want soemthing shorter, but not short enough to loose the stable ride. around 154"

Burton / forgot what bindings... broke 2 last season! :D

just a tip for beginning snow boarders, don't just sit and rest on the slope. everytime i go i see people all over the easier slopes sitting on their asses, 99% snow boarders. they are like #%@ speed bumps.

I wanna snowboard!! I broke my wrist in December on the first day of a weeklong trip to Tahoe, f-ing sucked. Only got to go up for one day after it healed this season so I'm hoping next season will be better. Oh ya and I wear wristguards now :)

Snowboarding is definitely the best thing EVER to do...

Wish season was longer. Although I live in the UP of michigan, which everyone thinks gets 9 month winters. No, not even close. :) This winter was a little better but not much. I only went to the local ski hill once and there was only a few inches on most of the hill and it was all icy and water. Have to go about an hour away to get to a good ski hill.

Using a 148 Division 23/Burton Freestyle bindings.

Well, I finally bought a board this year to learn, but even after half-a-dozen tries, I'm still a two-planker. I can go faster, with more control and leg independence, and face the right way to boot. Of course, skiing is harder.

Still, I think skiers can thank snowboarders for the new shaped ski phenomenon. My trusty Rossi 9X race baords are still fantastic after three seasons of racing and coaching. Next year, I'll move up to a pair of the newer Rossi or Atomic GS boards.

Catch 'ya,
Craig
