for just a beginner with aboutr 2yrs experience is a palmer honeycircle anygood? salomon definition? palmer would be around 230 and the salomon board 250.

anyone have opinions on palmer boards and salomon boards?

thanks 🙂

stay away from Palmer stuff. Palmer is an asshat.

Salomon will do fine. If you're not going to use the board for this season, wait a couple of more months for clearances. I bought my Burton on a clearance, and I've been using it for 7 years no problem along with my other boards.

the choice of getting a particular brand of board isn't as important as the type of board. (i.e., size, dimensions, stiffness)

there are at least 15 well known manufacturers out there that make good quality boards. find out what type of board fits best, then get the one w/ the coolest design, followed by the price. 😛
