Snowbirds

The Snowbirds just flew through the Detroit / Windsor area. They were in a diamond shaped formation much like the image linked. It was an awesome sight, and they sounded pretty sweet too.

I'm from FL, so the term Snowbirds refer to northerners visiting during the winter. The only formation they have is a single line of cars going 30 in the left hand lane with the blinkers on.

Saw a lot of that when I lived on Hilton Head Island in SC.

yeah right, people from the north are the ones driving slow as molasses on the left lane, not all the old farts in retired in Florida who should not own a license anymore. right.

Sorry, but tourists are the worst drivers. They're always lost.

QFT!

I've lived in South FL for most of my life and this is very true, most (85-90%) are from New York also.

Sure we have a lot of year round oldies in FL but they tend to stick closer to central FL around the lakes, us younger folks waste all our income on the expensive living by the beaches.

LOL! I meant to edit and ended up quoting myself! Thats a first for me. 😱
