First big snow storm of the season for the NY Tri-State area.

We had like 2 inches on yesterday but now they are saying maybe 7 inches or more.

Come on New Yorkers celebrate with me on the first big snow storm of the season.

Work sent out an email about the policy regarding snow storms...
If due to the weather it is deemed necessary to delay the opening of the building you will be notified by your supervisor. Everyone should keep in mind on mornings when the weather is bad that the official start time for the company is 8:00 AM.

Rule of thumb is. If the snow has stopped falling by morning, i'm going to work. If still coming down heavy and I need to dig my car out.. calling in sick..
 
I got trapped in my office by myself for 20 hours last year because of a blizzard :|

wouldn't have been that bad except for work never really stops, so it's not like I could go to sleep in the confrence room or anything.
 
got about 5" in Colorado Springs saturday, winter storm watch for tomorrow, but no predicted amounts yet. And cold a hell - highs in the single digits wed.
 
Yeah here in Eastern PA they were calling for a "large Snow Storm". All we got was 2 inches of snow. It was weak sauce.
