snow storm on its way here

Apparently it is hitting Detroit now. Freezing rain and loads of snow. How nice.

its all bs. im east of chicago and it just passed. the world didnt end like they said it would on the news. in fact there wasnt even that many accidents. its slick out there but its not even bad.

I got it here in Toledo too I drove my Envoy to work instead of my xA to prepare though...first it snowed 2" then an inch of freezing rain on top of that.

It'll be fun driving home to the 'burbs at midnight tonight.

they are calling for 15cm of snow, about 7 inches.

we are getting snow now but its all blowing and drifting around.

I just got done driving from downtown detroit to ann arbor and it was not fun. The express ways weren't too bad, except for the people going 30mph. Once on the regular streets it was a different story. I got into town after the freezing rain had started and the roads were still snow covered. Washtenaw was a parking lot after US23

Then, I had the profound joy of going 8mph following a car down another street. The good news is that he DID see the cop and slowed down to a more respectable 5mph so we didn't get pulled over for speeding

I have the Envoy with me dude- it's like driving a leather furnature store on 4 wheel drive I could fall asleep on those heated seats. Plenty of room for the boys to strech out.

Snowing like mad here in Bellingham WA. Right after this snow storm another one is following with heavy rain and wind. They're calling for up to 100mph gusts and up to 5 inches of rain.
