Damn right I do :) I thought it was quite an appropriate signature for this *whisper* US dominated forum ;)

I only have the young team album actually, and I love it. I must say though, I kind of prefer more angular stuff like Slint, whom you may not have heard of. My fave band however, would have to be Pavement (closely followed by MBV and SY)!

Cool. Yeah, thats a great sig. Well subtle for our transatlantic audience. ;) Young team is a great album, and come on die young is okay, though probably a 'tricky second album'. Ten Rapid is a collection of old b-sides and stuff thats cool too.

I like Pavement too, although i only have a few singles of theirs. 13 by blur is heavily influenced by pavement too apparently, and thats a great album.

:)

I have that Blur album, but I don't think it sounds too much like Pavement. Too be honest, I'm not mad on Blur - although I really liked Coffee and TV (which, admittedly does sound like it's influenced by pave). :)

I prefer the eponymous blur album over 13 myself.

have you listened to spiritualized? They're different to Mogwai, but a similar kind of genre, sort of, ish ;)

first two albums more so than their latest album, 'ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space', the one with electricity and i think i'm in love on it.

maybe i'll pick up a pavement album sometime. any recommendations?

I've heard Spiritulized, but they're not really my thing. As for a Pavement album...ohhh...it depends what you're after. The first one (slanted and enchanted) is really lo-fi-recorded-in-a-garage sounding, but has some really cool songs. Personally though, I'd probably recommend 'Crooked Rain Crooked Rain'. That's prolly my fave :)
