Snow Leopard Clean install - Sleep issues, boot up issues, Computer doesn't wake up

I did a clean install of snow leopard on an imac a month ago, since then, when the desktop goes to sleep, it won't wake up. I am using the latest drivers for my MS keyboard. I am forced to do a hard reboot. When I reboot, I get a question mark folder. If i put the snow leopard disc in, I don't get the question mark folder. Any ideas?
