Just snagged it. Glad to see they finally got rid of that annoying four-finger swipe glitch.

Yup just updated looks great no problems so far
glad that i can finally use the four-finger swipe without killing someone

Now growl mail needs to come out with an update

Loving this update. Finally unbroke the stuff that SL broke. Less beachballing, runs coolers, wifi drops less and doubled my battery life back to leopard's.

What computer?

Not a real Mac, but a Hackintosh 🙁

Asus P5K Premium, Intel Q6600, 8GB PC2-8500, 8800GTS 650mb.

Upgraded, but got KP. Tried it on a my backup bootable eSATA drive with 10.6.1. Looks like I'll have to figure this one out.

Fixed that pesky bug of Atom support.

Thanks Apple.

What was the glitch?

Before, you could swipe up to show the desktop and swipe down to bring back your windows. Logical since your windows go to the top of the screen. Snow Leopard broke the second part. My windows would drop down for a split second and go back up. So you would have to swipe up again to bring them back. It's not what I would call a critical problem but it was annoying when SL first came out.

Ah, I didn't even notice it broke in the first place 😳

I'll remember to make use of this next time.

Did you get the click-pause with your Seagate Momentus drive? How did you fix that?

I can only hope 10.6.2 cures some of the problems you mentioned -- on my pre-SR MBP. 🙁 Guess I can find out later on.

Installed the update through the software update option and it was stuck on Writing Files for over an hour (was on 10.6.1). Rebooted and downloaded the 400mb+ combo package and that installed fine without a hitch... found that a bit strange because I never had a problem before with the software update.
