Its 7 AM now and everything is covered in snow and it is still coming down. I'm glad I am at work already but this is going to severely fubar my commute home this afternoon.
2" predicted for the Portland/Vancouver area, high of 40. Should drop below freezing tonight.
:(

If you Portland residents didn't know by now the entire interstate system is fubared.
City buses are running, with chains and snow chains are required for any travel within the Portland/Vancouver area. And on top of all of this my boss called and said he may not be able to make it in from Camas. So I may be stuck working till 1AM. :cry;

It is already sticking, just looking out at the parking lot here it is completely white. My car is covered.
The truly bad part is it will melt some and get mushy and then refreeze tonight making things more hazardous tomorrow.

Could be worse... You could be getting snow like we are about to here in Texas. People down here can't drive when it rains...

28F and a little over 2 inches on the ground here at my house on the close-in west side. Snow Day!! :D

Oregon does get a lot of snow, in the mountains and in the high deserts east of the Cascades. The western valley floors rarely get snow but maybe once or twice a year.

This town is hilarious when it snows. I love it.

In the meantime, I took a little joy ride in my big boy toboggan Text

WTF is that?

You put all seasons on, or do you have dedicated winter tires? I can't wait to do the same with the MS6, but all we have had is ice, and the stock Brudgestone's are useless in snow...
