Snow day!!! No work for me

Got a call at 5am and was told there's no school which means i dont have to go in for work.
working for a school has its advantages!!!!!

Yeah, they cancelled classes at my college too. I just got up to check things out and am going back to bed soon.

oh well ... i can get laundry done today. hopefully everyone else is at work so i can wash my clothes in peace

 

We're shutdown here too (schoolwise) because of a little frozen stuff on the ground. I still have to work, but my son gets the day off!

I'm making my own snowday . Classes are still in session, but there's no way I'm driving in that mess; they haven't even plowed my subdivision yet. Besides, the last time it did this I did try to make it for class: almost didn't make it out of the subdivision, it took me an 1.5 hours to cover what is normally a 20 minute drive, and after all that the proffessor never showed up :| We sat in class for most of the hour before she called on her cell phone to report that she was still stuck in traffic.

I got to class and found out it was closed, heard on the radio twice on the way there that it was only a 2 hour delay. Only to be denied

And I'm sure that just breaks your heart Of course, I'd be pissed if I'd gone through all the trouble to get there (assuming the roads are actually bad) and then finding out that nobody else was there.
